PONKO starts with the highest quality ingredients, including cooking with rice bran oil for its natural health benefits and good flavor.
The menu is designed to combine both Japanese and American comfort foods with the chicken tender as the main attraction.
The Auburn location serves plates with your choice of two sides. There are fresh salads and sandwiches as well as sweet treats.
Diners can order the award-winning chicken tenders, tofu tenders or grilled chicken. Pair it with their choice of sides ranging from PONKO sticky rice to fries to green beans to Japanese-style potato salad.
What’s more is everything from the sides to the sauces is made in-house. The sauces and dressings are also bottled and available for purchase.

This one-of-a-kind fast-casual concept is based in Atlanta, Georgia. As of now, there are three corporate locations along with 13 franchise locations, including the one in Auburn. According to PONKO’s franchise information, more than 30 units are currently under contract.
