Make plans for free family fun with special showings of some of your favorite films during The Gogue Center’s Summer Film Series all season! In fact, the series kicks off this Thursday, June 23rd, at 6 p.m.

2022 Summer Film Series

The Gogue Center’s Summer Film Series is back! Gather the family, the blankets and folding chairs for an outdoor nighttime showing of family-friendly hit movies from June through August.

No tickets needed. No registration required. Simply head to the Amphitheater at the City of Auburn Lawn and Porch. The gates open at 6 p.m., and the show will start at 7 p.m. for each summer film.

But don’t forget your wallet! While the movie is free, there will be movie-themed concessions available for purchase. Come early for fun arts activities for the kids too.

Without further ado, save the dates for the following four shows as part of The Gogue Center’s Summer Film Series in 2022!

Encanto, June 23

One of Disney’s more recent animated hits, Encanto is full of magic, family and adventure. Not to mention one of the catchiest soundtracks around! Don’t miss your chance to see the magical Madrigals on the big screen under the stars. Plus, you won’t want to miss the spontaneous audience sing-a-long that is sure to accompany “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.”

Beauty and the Beast, July 7

Are you ready for this? It’s truly a live action sing-a-long with this special screening of Disney’s beloved Beauty and the Beast! In this 2017 live action version of the classic tale, you’ll get a handsome prince, an enchantress and a curse that can only be broken by true love.

Sing 2, July 21

The catchy music continues with the third film in The Gogue Center’s Summer Film Series! Will Buster Moon and his all-star cast of performers pull off their most daring show ever? Find out when you watch Sing 2 on the big screen Thursday, July 21st!

Black Panther, August 4

The 2022 Summer Film Series will finish strong with a showing of the action-packed Marvel Studios hit, Black Panther. Follow along with T’Challa’s journey to the throne of Wakanda after the death of his father. Conflict, excitement, self-discovery and destiny—this popular movie has it all!
