The Hey Day Market, part of the state-of-the-art Tony & Libba Rane Culinary Science Center, opened August 15th as Auburn University students, faculty, staff and others returned to campus for the fall semester.
However, the much-anticipated Hey Day Market in Auburn isn’t just for Auburn students and employees.
Area locals and visitors alike can also enjoy a delicious meal made from fresh, organic ingredients prepared by “budding chefs.”
In fact, the airy 10,000-square-foot dining hall is all about celebrating creative culinary innovation and creating hands-on learning experiences.

There are eight Hey Day Market vendors plus a student-led test-kitchen that lets AU College of Human Sciences students see what it’s like to build a kitchen from the ground up.
Throughout the summer, the eight selected vendors were announced as they were confirmed. Now, guests can take their pick from classic, all-American fare to authentic tacos to Cuban sandwiches and more.
More specifically, Hey Day diners can satisfy cravings from the following options:

Another plus for university students is the fact they can use their Tiger Club cards and dining plan dollars to purchase fresh meals seven days a week from the Hey Day Market in Auburn.
