Though it’s only September, Auburn Oktoberfest 2019 is coming early this year! This great—and delicious—event offers tons of tasty drinks and treats. It also features culture and live entertainment! What is Auburn Oktoberfest 2019?

Oktoberfest traces its origins back to Germany—Munich, specifically. Each year, people there celebrate this fun folk festival, drinking beer and sharing fun. As time has gone by, this tradition has spread out across the world—all the way to Auburn, Alabama, too!

Auburn Oktoberfest 2019 is the city’s 10th celebration of the festival. It offers attractions and tasty treats like:

  • More than 150 kinds of beers to sample;
  • Wine;
  • Food trucks;
  • A wiener dog race;
  • Live entertainment;
  • A stein-hoisting competition; and
  • Televisions playing college football games.

When and Where

Auburn Oktoberfest takes place on September 21 at Ag Heritage Park on 620 S. Donahue Drive in Auburn. It will last from 4 to 8 p.m—that’s four hours of fun!

You don’t need to pull on a pair of lederhosen to attend Auburn’s Oktoberfest 2019 (though you can!). All you need is your ticket! Visit the Auburn Oktoberfest 2019 website and don’t forget to get your ticket here.

Regular tickets cost $40 until August 17; $50 from August 18 to September 6; and $60 until September 19.

Want to go all out? Get the Eat, Drink, and Be German Package. Tickets cost $75 per person if you buy before the 17th of August and $85 if you buy after that date. Tickets also come with:

  • A tasting mug;
  • A lanyard;
  • A VIP parking pass;
  • A koozie;
  • A T-shirt; and
  • Access to the VIP Food Garden.
